I'd also like to point out that theres nothing you can do to make your self feel better about your life than go a couple of web sites full of moaning bitchy people every morning. Suddenly you'll fell like you walk around constantly bathed in sunlight.

On the downside you will have even less patience for losers. But its still worth it.

Someone mentioned a very interesting point and I haven't been able to wrap my head around it. Women often say they they get a negative message from magazine covers and fashion models that "real" women can't live up to. This is supposedly because these are the women men idealize.

But the fashion industry is openly acknowledged as being heavily influenced if not out right run by homosexual males. If that is indeed true, and I have no idea really about the fashion industry, then why are men who are not attracted to women setting the standards for what is and isn't attractive for women?

I have no idea if this is true or not but it would explain why many of the runway models look like young boys.

So, Spence was in Vegas, so it wasn't him that took the picture of Bden and his new ridic glasses. But he did promise us not to ever die! Is this the first time Brendon has @replied to a fan? It's pretty rare and I'm just going to mentally block the knowledge that he reads his @replies at all.

Same with Jon, who Happy Birthday tweeted a fan. I think she and her friends spammed him for the response but it's still cute that he bothered. It's been a long time since he acknowledged fans or that he was even a guy who might have them.

*sigh* Okay, back to being a grown up. I'm going to ~Do Stuff so that I can play for the rest of the day.

This is what is in my ear at the moment. Three times in a row. Quite possibly the best song, by one of the best bands ever. The second guitar solo on this, despite being epic in length and complication, is quite possibly one of the best guitar performances ever. I think I've settled on David Gilmour as my favorite guitarist, and one of my favorite vocalists. Their live performances are incomparable. This song is simply perfection.

I just got my official letter of eligibility for Temporary Florida Educator's Certificate in both TESOL and English/Language Arts grades 6-12.

Huh.

I've applied for an online AP high school connected to University of Miami (which I would hope would be non-residential employment since it's an online school) and am looking for more. I have done my resume posting and searching through Teachers-Teachers.com. Anyone have any other website suggestions for me? If I get a job I'll have to do the General Knowledge test and the FBI background check, then I have 3 years to take a professional educator's test, a subject area exam, and about 15 credits of classes.

I don't really even want to work right now. I've started doing some editing professionally, and that is enough to keep me busy. But the temporary certificate is only good for 3 years and I need a job to complete the process.

I sort of wish I'd never applied. I still don't want to stay in the US. I have a weird feeling I just jinxed myself.

Blah.

But I'm glad that I got so much credit for my degrees and jobs and don't have too much work to do.

Its the time of year where everybody makes their resolutions for the coming year. 2009 was a decent year for the two of us and with a little luck 2010 will be even better. because of this I don't really have any resolutions. I do have a few goals that are continuations of things that are going on now.

I applied for graduation with an Associate of Sciences and if they get my last class grade straightened out I will probably graduate Suma Cume Laude. Yeah I know its just a crappy two year degree but it was available and it fit all the things I had to take to get my Bachelors so i figured what the hell. So one of my goals is to continue with school towards my Bachelors. If I'm lucky I can finish it in 2011.

I'm also going to be begining competition in competitive powerlifting. It's going to have a pretty steep learning curve but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I'm also going to try and make a run at teh Alabama state deadlift record. It might take a couple of years to get there but I'm going to try and do it this year.

Only work goals are to keep things running smoothly and avoid office upheavals.

I want to do more fic writting and I'm going to get back to doing SCA fighting more often while still playing football on Sundays.

It's looking like a pretty good year.

More minutes go by and the duck calls the bartender over again. "Got toast?"

The bartender, angry now, says, "No. I don't have any toast. If you ask me again, I'm going to nail your bill to the bar to shut you up!"

The duck thinks about it and asks, "Got nails?"

"NO! I don't have any nails!" the bartender yells.

The duck's response is immediate.

"Got toast?"
